How does the free trial work?
Your free trial includes up to 30 AI-answered calls, giving you the opportunity to experience AnswerBee before committing to a paid plan. You can test how calls are handled, how messages are captured and how your notifications are delivered. No credit card is required to start. Once you choose a paid plan, your included human receptionist service becomes available during the applicable office hours.
How do I divert my existing phone number to AnswerBee?
You can usually divert your existing landline or mobile number to your AnswerBee number using your phone provider's standard call-divert settings. Depending on your provider, you may be able to choose between diverting all calls, diverting calls when you're busy, or diverting calls when you don't answer. We'll provide the information you need to get set up.

What happens if two people call my business at the same time?
If your team or a receptionist is already handling a call, AnswerBee can use AI call handling to help manage additional incoming calls. This means you have another layer of coverage when your human reception team is already occupied.
Where are your human receptionists located?
Our human reception team is UK-based, providing callers with a professional UK voice and a familiar experience for UK businesses and their customers.
Can AnswerBee book appointments into my calendar?
Calendar booking is available on eligible plans where the required calendar integration has been enabled. Once connected, AnswerBee can use the availability in your linked calendar to help arrange appointments without requiring you to answer the phone yourself.

Am I locked into a long-term contract?
No. AnswerBee plans are month-to-month. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription according to the terms of your plan.
What happens if I go over my monthly minute allowance?
Your service continues running. Additional minutes are charged at your plan's published overage rate. For example, if you're on the Starter plan, additional usage is charged at £0.45 per minute.
Are there any setup fees?
There are no standard setup fees for our advertised plans. If a particular custom integration or service carries an additional cost, we'll make that clear before you agree to it.
Do unused minutes roll over?
Unused minutes do not roll over into the following billing period unless specifically stated in your plan.
